Fullstack JavaScript Developer Set up in December 2019, fena is a well-funded startup in fintech and payments. Fena powers up seamless access to Open Banking. Fena offers Open Banking payments for online, e-commerce and in-store transactions. We are looking for a Fullstack JavaScript Developer with some experience in payments. So if you are a go-getter who would like to embark on the journey with a relatively new business; then we would love to have a chat with you. Required At least 5 years experience in the following:

  • Backend Experience - Nodejs, Express, GCP, REST APIs
  • Frontend Experience - React.js
  • Database Experience - MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis
  • Testing Experience - Jest, Mocha
  • Code Practices - Gitflow, TDD, BDD, documentation and tooling e.g. API Blueprint, StoryBook

  • eCommerce: Easy to install solutions requiring only a few lines of code, or plug-ins for solutions like WooCommerce, merchants can quickly add open banking payments to their checkout to reduce their costs, remove chargebacks, and minimise fraud.
  • Small Retailers: In-store or in-person payments using our merchant app. Removes the need for a card terminal, instead using a mobile and QR code. Retailers can accept bank transfers as seamlessly as card payments for a fraction of the cost.
  • Invoice Payments: Users can insert a QR code or payment link onto invoices to ensure they receive the right amount, every time. Generate these payment requests manually, or connect your account via API to automatically generate requests.
