A day in the life of a Medical Bill Review Auditor
As a Medical Bill Review Auditor at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our clients' lives by accurately reviewing medical bills and identifying areas for cost savings. Your day will be filled with seated computer work, performing data entry on workers' compensation-related medical bills. You'll have the freedom to listen to podcasts or music via headphones while you work, and we encourage you to take breaks and recharge throughout the day.
Key responsibilities:
* Accurately review medical bills and identify areas for cost savings
- Perform data entry on workers' compensation-related medical bills
- Meet production and accuracy performance metrics
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date on state laws, fee schedules, and other guidelines related to medical billing

Requirements:
* High School Diploma required, college preferred: We welcome recent graduates and those looking to transition to a new career
- Strong data entry/computer skills required: You should be comfortable working with computers and have basic data entry skills
- Desire to work in an office environment: You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Certification in a related field (i.e. CPC) a plus: While not required, certification in a related field can be beneficial
- Previous medical/health care/insurance industry experience a plus, but not required: We provide paid training and internal support to help you succeed in this role
- Must live in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area: We're looking for someone who can commit to working in our Milwaukee office and living in the surrounding area
