Salesforce Developer (Service Cloud)

About the Role

A fast-growing global enterprise software company is seeking Salesforce Developers to support and stabilize its enterprise Salesforce ecosystem following a recent large-scale Service Cloud rollout. The organization is currently operating in a hypercare and stabilization phase, requiring developers with strong Salesforce platform expertise who can quickly troubleshoot issues, improve platform stability, support backlog execution, and enhance existing Service Cloud workflows. This role is ideal for experienced Salesforce platform developers who understand both declarative Salesforce capabilities and custom Apex development within enterprise Service Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Support stabilization and hypercare activities after a recent Service Cloud implementation
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues within the Salesforce platform
  • Reverse engineer and understand existing Salesforce configurations and customizations
  • Build and maintain custom applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Configure and extend Service Cloud functionality including case management, omni-channel routing, workflows, and automation
  • Improve platform automation using Flows and programmatic solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Support, and Business stakeholders
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Contribute to platform governance, release management, and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong proficiency with Apex
  • Experience building applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud functionality
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise Salesforce environments
  • Experience reverse engineering existing implementations and customizations
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows using tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub
  • Experience with Salesforce deployment and DevOps processes
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with omni-channel, case management, and Service Cloud workflows
  • Experience with Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps tools
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS environments
  • Salesforce certifications preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams
