Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Infrastructure Location: New York, NY (Hybrid work) Paytype: W2 (No C2C) Job Summary: In the role of a (SRE) production support engineer, you will assume a crucial responsibility for maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of our API-based payment product(s) and all Network and Infrastructure system(s), including Datacenter and cloud. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, developers, QA engineers, and customer support, will be pivotal as you tackle technical challenges and deliver outstanding support to both our internal teams and clients. Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of making our application resilient, reliable, and scalable
  • Provides application support, troubleshooting, application testing, Knowledge transfer, and post-implementation review of new/changed applications. (Hands-On)
  • Coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams to provide a high level of service to our customers both internal and external and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times.
  • Well versed in managing incident calls during outages and involving right people on the call and taking it to closure with root cause determination.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for known issues, workarounds, and standard operating procedures to assist in efficient problem resolution and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitoring the applications' stability, troubleshoot issues and resolve to ensure that client systems are operational, and any loss of service are restored completely.
  • Possess good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to anticipate any potential issues and take proactive measures to resolve.

Qualifications

  • Batch Monitoring & Job scheduling tools like ESP & Autosys & windows task
  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
  • Good in ITIL Basic Knowledge (Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management
  • Ability to work on-site via a hybrid work schedule.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
  • 5+ Years Experience developing and maintaining with Cloud Technologies (AWS, or Azure
  • 5+ Years Experience with Networking troubleshooting skill
  • 5+ Years Experience with Datacenter management and troubleshooting with (VMWare or Hyper-V)
  • Good working experience on Windows Server, IIS, and networking
  • AWS certification a plus
  • Strong integrity and character; personal accountability and detail-oriented organization are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
