This position will be managing the Physician Coding teams for Radiology, ED and Critical Care. You will be managing a coding staff as well as being a liaison to coding vendors. Manage all department coding and charge entry activities including coding of reports as required. Creating and executing physician education program on proper documentation to maximize overall reimbursement to include residents, fellows, and faculty. Act as Department representative to UCPC Compliance Group and ensure Department adheres to all policies set by this group. Follow-up on all billing related issues including addressing TES edits.
