About the Role

We are looking for a Tax Manager who can lead client relationships, manage engagements, and help develop the team. This is more than a technical review role. It is an opportunity to take ownership of your work, build trust with clients, and play a meaningful role in a growing firm. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys combining technical tax knowledge with sound judgment, clear communication, and leadership. Our managers are expected to move work forward, support the people around them, and help create a strong client experience.

What You'll Do

Manage a defined group of client engagements from start to finish. Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and trusts. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, responsive relationships throughout the year. Oversee workflow, deadlines, and quality across the engagements you manage. Coordinate with other members of the team to keep work accurate, timely, and moving forward. Conduct tax research and stay current on developments in tax law and regulations. Lead tax planning and advisory conversations that help clients make informed decisions. Assist clients with IRS and state tax authority notices, correspondence, and audits. Provide direction, feedback, and support to team members working on your engagements. What Great Looks Like Your clients see you as a trusted advisor and reliable point of contact. Engagements you are managing move through our process smoothly and on time. Team members working with you receive clear direction, timely feedback, and support. You identify issues and planning opportunities and communicate them clearly. You contribute not only through client work, but also by helping improve processes and strengthen the firm over time. What a Great Fit Looks Like A self-starter with high initiative and follow-through. A strong communicator who can explain complex tax matters in a clear, practical way. Comfortable managing client relationships and making sound decisions. Looking for an opportunity to grow inside a firm that is continuing to evolve. Interested in improving how things work.
