A little bit about our team: We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our fast-evolving Automated Marketing engineering team. This person will work closely with marketing and product teams to deliver value to the business quickly through the development of internal tools and pipelines ranging from early prototypes to fully-supported products. This team focuses on the full stack, including data engineering, data pipelining, backend development in Python, and front-end development in React. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class team on AI/ML-driven solutions to complex marketing problems. Your role: As a Software Engineering Manager you will serve as Technical Lead Manager where you are hands-on and involved in designing and implementing greenfield projects with your team. \n Here you’ll get to: Own team deliverables and objectives Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers Hire, build your team, and manage performance Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project management Reimagine and implement the future of data for the music industry Build, drive and uplift a dynamic and highly effective engineering team Own the creation and delivery of innovative products About you: You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field You’re a passionate engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 5-10+ software engineers You are hands on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work You communicate effectively and have a proven track record of effective hiring and team building You thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments You’re an empathetic leader who builds strong teams You’ve worked with and/or overseen teams working with AWS and Python We’d love it if you also had: Development experience with AWS, Python, and React is a plus, although not mandatory. \nAs the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
