Junior Human Resource Specialist
Job Description:
- Apply HR skills in support of managers, program staff and customers on a full range of HR topics.
- Process personnel and payroll actions, keying payroll documents, processing leave audits.
- Research waiver and hearing requests.
- Assist with drafting SOP’s.
- Provide wide ranging administrative support to managers and program staff.
- Process complex cases involving pay, leave, time and attendance administration.
- Resolve pay-setting errors and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required OR 3 years of federal Human Resources experience as equivalent.
- Delegated Examining Certification and/or HRM Certificate from an accredited academic institution preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a group or individually.
- Advanced organization and leadership skills.
- Understanding and familiarity with industry best practices.
- Exceptional time management skills.
