Personal Lines Insurance Producer — Central MA (Remote)

We're hiring a producer in central Massachusetts — anywhere from Worcester through Fitchburg and Leominster, including Westborough, Shrewsbury, Auburn, Gardner, and surrounding towns. This role is fully remote, but we want someone who actually lives and works in this part of the state — local relationships are how producers win here, and we'd rather invest in someone rooted in the community than someone who has to learn it from scratch. You must be a Massachusetts resident with an active MA Property & Casualty license to be considered. We're not sponsoring relocation, and we're not hiring out-of-state producers for this role. This is a W-2 position with a transparent compensation plan. No surprises, no fine print — we'll walk you through the full structure on the first call. The compensation — the basics

  • W-2 employee, fully remote
  • $3,500/month draw against commission, paid on the 1st and 15th
  • Tiered new business commission: 60% Year 1, 55% Year 2, 50% Year 3+ of carrier commission
  • Renewal participation that grows with your tenure
  • Additional incentives and bonuses based on quality of business and cross-sell performance
  • Year 3 and Year 5 tenure bonuses

What it looks like in practice

  • Year 1 (ramp year): Approximately $48,000–$52,000 as you ramp through the production milestones. The $3,500 monthly draw acts as a guaranteed floor while you build pipeline; once you're producing, you're paid on commission (60% of carrier commission in Year 1) rather than draw plus commission.
  • Year 2: $60,000–$68,000 as your first year's renewals begin paying you
  • Year 3: $70,000–$78,000
  • Year 4–5: $90,000–$110,000+ as your renewal book compounds and bonus eligibility unlocks
  • These numbers assume sustained $60K+/month production — top performers exceed them, and we'll walk through the full math on the first call

90-day grace period. Months 1–3 carry zero clawback. Carrier appointments and pipeline take time, and we don't penalize you for ramp. The support stack

  • Once you're producing $60K+ monthly on a consistent basis, we hire and assign a dedicated CSR specifically to your book — that's when we start building out your team

  • Work from wherever you do your best work

Who this is for You'll likely be a strong fit if you're:

  • A captive producer (State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, or similar) in central Massachusetts ready for independent carrier access
  • An experienced personal lines CSR or account manager in central Massachusetts ready to step into production with structured support
  • Holding an active Massachusetts P&C license
  • Living in Worcester County and committed to staying there
  • Self-directed, organized, comfortable working remotely

Production expectations — stated up front We expect $30K/month average by Month 3, $45K/month by Month 6, and $65K/month by Month 12. These are the milestones the comp plan is built around. We'd rather tell you up front than spring them on you later. What this isn't

  • Not a 1099 commission-only "build your own agency" pitch
  • Not an MLM, downline, or "be your own boss" structure
  • No required upfront purchases, training fees, or paid lead programs
  • You don't pay for your own E&O, license, or CE
