Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Department by managing social media content, creating marketing materials, and collaborating across teams to enhance brand messaging and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly social content calendars for:
  • Thomas Foods (B2B)
  • Thomas Farms (B2C)
  • You will:
  • Write captions and adapt messaging for each platform
  • Leverage data and insights from available sources (Datassentials, Spins, Circana, trade publications)
  • Coordinate visuals (photo, video, graphics)
  • Schedule and publish content
  • Capture photo and video content at company events, promotions, and internal initiatives
  • Support recipe, product, and lifestyle content development
  • Assist with light video editing, reels creation, or graphic design (experience with Canva or Adobe is a plus)
  • Help develop marketing materials for digital and retail channels
  • Help identify influencers and creators for Thomas Farms
  • Support communication with agencies and external partners
  • Support Thomas Farms and Thomas Foods International USA across:
  • Instacart and retailer product pages and portals
  • Website updates
  • Merchandising, selling & in‑store materials
  • Help maintain consistent messaging and visual standards across all touchpoints
  • Assist various departments in Internal Communications campaigns
  • Track basic analytics across social platforms and campaigns
  • Assist in building recaps and sharing findings
  • Help identify ways to improve engagement and content performance
  • Support product development and innovation efforts with insights from data partners
  • Partner with Human Resources and external agencies to bring internal branding and employee campaigns to life
  • Learn about the business and participate in on-going training and development opportunities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation
  • (new graduates will be considered with relevant internships or hands‑on project experience)
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Comfort capturing photo and video content
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok best practices
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented
  • Comfortable working across both B2B and B2C channels
  • Experience working with influencers or creators
  • Basic performance reporting or analytics skills
  • Experience working with agencies or vendors
