Digital Designer

Costello Medical is a rapidly growing global healthcare agency specializing in medical communications and market access. As a Digital Designer, you will be involved in a wide range of digital design projects for clients in the healthcare sector, from concept development to full production, allowing for creativity and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Creating a variety of user-friendly deliverables, including websites and web applications, interactive content for external events, marketing materials, and other design pieces for both internal teams and external clients
• Working closely with creative colleagues and project managers at the outset of projects to determine the design scope, purpose, and strategic approach to be taken
• Clearly communicating project requirements to project teams and providing input on any technical queries
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality
• Providing outstanding customer service, building strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients

Skills

• A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio. We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to; Digital Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Media and Communications, Computer Science and Art
• Some professional experience within an agency or commercial setting
• Technical knowledge of email/web/application development, including practical experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience applying UI/UX design principles across a wide range of digital deliverables
• Good working knowledge of Figma, or a strong desire to learn
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Familiarity with other software in the Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
• A problem-solving mindset, and the ability to think outside the box
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, an excellent level of productivity and the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust and sustainable working relationships
• Practical understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Search engine optimisation (SEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) experience
• Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and a flair for creative copywriting
• Familiarity with basic JavaScript
