Enrollment Specialist (AL)
GT Independence is a family-founded national leader in personal and financial services for individuals who rely on home- and community-based care. The Enrollment Specialist provides face-to-face personal service to consumers and their support circles in Alabama, ensuring a smooth enrollment process and maintaining compliance with company values and HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner
- Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate
- Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience
- Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Upholds company values and mission
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 1 year of experience in a related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Personal computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Strong ability to participate in a highly effective team
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology
- Have or willing to obtain a Notary Public license
- Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred
- Will consider candidates with experience relevant to the position
