Senior Android or iOS Mobile Developer - Backbase
About the position We are looking for Senior Android &/or iOS Developers to join our team! Responsibilities
- Handle working on multiple projects or tasks and keep them all under control.
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and development team to deliver compelling user-facing products and services.
- Apply Agile values to work and understand how they can add to team’s success.
- Value writing clean, maintainable, testable code that solves business problems quickly.
- Act as a consultant, comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges.
- Develop and maintain software using Kotlin and Java.
- Create automated unit tests and ensure quality in code.
- Develop and successfully launch native Android & iOS apps to Google Play & Apple.
Requirements
- Experience in the financial services industry or professional services: consultative, client-facing, disciplined, professional.
- Experience integrating and customizing the Backbase digital banking platform for credit unions.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in an Android or iOS Developer role.
- 3+ years of experience in Angular development.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Reactive programming experience with RxJava.
- Experience with Jetpack libraries.
- Understanding of fragments, animation, threading, and the latest Android SDKs.
Nice-to-haves

- Fast learner and ready to make a big impact.
- Solid understanding of proper code documentation, automation and knowledge of the modern software development life cycle.
- Experience with building libraries that are used by other developers and understanding best practices in this domain.
- Familiarity with CI/CD with Bitrise or Jenkins, automation, and scripting.
- Experience with clean architecture patterns such as MVVM.
