Senior Engineer/Scientist – Statistician
Job Description:
- Provide expert methodological and epidemiological advice on data analysis
- Serve as the primary data science resource among individuals provided by the contract
- Assist in developing job exposure matrices accounting for uncertainty from expert assessments
- Identify appropriate analytical methods or statistical programs to address study objectives
- Verify, clean, edit, and convert data to proper format for proposed analysis
- Provide statistical programming to achieve statistical objectives or data manipulation
- Construct statistical models and graphics
- Prepare statistically sound analyses for manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals or CDC publications
Requirements:
- PhD or ScD in statistics
- Experience with occupational safety & health research
- Skills in SAS, R, Python, MS SQL or Dataverse
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)
