This is a unique opportunity to apply your analytical mindset to real‑world challenges, while contributing to a culture that values precision, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of quality‑focused activities that support both the design and manufacturing phases of our product lifecycle. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Developing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test plans for data entry workflows and product validation exercises.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including design engineers, manufacturing specialists, and quality assurance professionals—to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
  • Conducting root‑cause analysis of test failures, leveraging statistical data analysis tools to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving specialized documentation repositories, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data entry and quality control.
  • Creating and managing detailed test schedules, ensuring milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Supporting warranty claims by providing accurate, data‑driven evidence of product performance and compliance.
  • Participating in risk assessment activities such as DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis), PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report).
  • Performing capacity studies, gauge R&R (Repeatability & Reproducibility) analyses, and other statistical evaluations to validate process capability.
  • Driving the creation and maintenance of quality records throughout product development and manufacturing phases.
  • Auditing and implementing customer‑specific requirements, including SOR (Statement of Requirements) and detailed specifications.
  • Coordinating design and pre‑production prototypes, ensuring that data entry standards are upheld from concept through final release.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following core qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related scientific discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in QA/QC, testing, product development, or data entry quality assurance within a technology‑focused environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex data sets, identify root causes, and develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated meticulousness in documentation, data entry, and test execution.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

While not mandatory, the following attributes will set candidates apart:

  • Experience with remote work environments and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence).
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt).
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Minitab, JMP, or Python for statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of e‑commerce platforms and product information management (PIM) systems.
  • Ability to lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events or Lean projects.

Core Competencies for Success

The ideal candidate will embody a blend of technical expertise and soft skills that enable high performance in a remote setting:

  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Ability to approach ambiguous challenges with structured thinking and innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working across time zones and cultural boundaries, fostering trust and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Self‑Management: Demonstrated discipline in managing workload, meeting deadlines, and maintaining productivity without direct supervision.
