  • This is a 100% remote opportunity, but candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered: Colorado (CO), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kansas (KS), Kentucky (KY), Massachusetts (MA), Maine (ME), Maryland (MD), Missouri (MO), Michigan (MI), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Oklahoma (OK), Pennsylvania (PA), Utah (UT), Tennessee (TN), Wisconsin (WI), Washington D.C., or Virginia (VA).
  • All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and hold a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet environment for occasional video calls and team collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Document Analysis and Data Capture: Carefully analyze a variety of source documents to identify and extract relevant provider, credentialing, and disciplinary data for entry into the proprietary FACIS database.
  • Source Verification Research: Conduct additional research as needed to clarify the source of information, including directly contacting issuing authorities or data originators for guidance on how to interpret complex or ambiguous documents.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with management, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders regarding processes, data acquisition, data transformation, and quality control.
  • Process Articulation: Clearly articulate and document data transformation processes so that workflows remain transparent, repeatable, and auditable.
  • Queue Management: Work through items in the Data Entry queue consistently, meeting daily and weekly production benchmarks while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Ad-Hoc and Periodic Projects: Take on additional periodical and ad-hoc projects, special initiatives, or process improvement tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Self-Management and Initiative: Operate with a high degree of self-motivation, working independently day to day with limited direct oversight while remaining accountable for outcomes.
  • Resource Utilization: Use all available provided resources, knowledge bases, and internal documentation to answer questions and resolve issues before escalating to management.
  • Quality and Efficiency Benchmarks: Consistently meet or exceed both quality and efficiency benchmarks set by the Data Entry leadership team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance the overall quality of the data environment at arenaflex.

  • Methodical Testing: Willingness to test new methods thoroughly while always considering excellence a fundamental priority.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent general computer skills and strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills, paired with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in complex data sets.

Education and Experience

Required

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience in data entry, data comparison, or data verification roles.
