Program Overview

The arenaflex IT Summer Internship is a 13‑week, full‑time program (May 13 – August 9, 2024) designed for students who are passionate about data, software development, and business analysis. Interns will work remotely or in a hybrid model from our Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis‑St. Paul, MN offices, collaborating with seasoned professionals on projects that directly influence the company’s revenue strategies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of web‑based applications using modern frameworks such as Java/JEE, Spring, Angular, and RESTful APIs.
  • Support data‑analytics initiatives by gathering, cleaning, and visualizing large data sets to create performance dashboards and actionable insights.
  • Participate in Agile/DevOps ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and help maintain continuous integration pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional prototypes.
  • Provide Tier‑1 technical support for internal tools, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as needed.
  • Document code, processes, and findings in clear, concise technical documentation for future reference.
  • Engage in code reviews, learning best practices for software quality, security, and performance optimization.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Need to Succeed)
