Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Customer Engineer on the arenaflex Cloud team, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver seamless, high‑impact cloud experiences to customers across Florida and beyond. You will collaborate directly with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into robust, scalable solutions that drive real business value. This role is ideal for a technically savvy professional who thrives on solving challenging problems, influencing product direction, and shaping the future of cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Enablement: Partner with arenaflex sales teams to identify and qualify enterprise opportunities, conducting deep technical discovery sessions that uncover business and technical requirements.
  • Solution Architecture: Design end‑to‑end arenaflex Cloud solutions—including data warehousing, data lakes, real‑time streaming, and ETL pipelines—that address customer pain points and align with strategic objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead technical proof‑of‑concept (PoC) initiatives, develop detailed solution briefs, and coordinate cross‑functional resources to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality deliverables.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demos, white‑board sessions, and slide presentations that showcase the value proposition of arenaflex Cloud Platform and differentiate our offerings from competitors.
  • Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Provide feedback from customer engagements to influence product roadmaps, feature enhancements, and future releases.
  • Thought Leadership: Author technical white papers, best‑practice guides, and response documents for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping both prospective and existing customers navigate challenges related to data analytics, AI/ML operations, and cloud scalability.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and provide innovative recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical role such as Technical Representative, Pre‑Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or a similar customer‑facing position.
  • Hands‑on experience with data‑warehouse solutions, big‑data technologies, real‑time streaming, performance tuning, or scalability optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing data warehousing, data lake, batch, and real‑time event processing pipelines, as well as ETL workflows.
  • Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in large‑scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment, MLOps, and operationalization of machine‑learning workloads on the arenaflex Cloud platform.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to quickly learn, evaluate, and adopt emerging cloud technologies, methodologies, and solutions.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Python, Java, or Scala; experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and modern data‑warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Solution Design: Ability to architect end‑to‑end cloud solutions that balance performance, cost, security, and compliance.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to C‑level executives and technical stakeholders alike.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams, influencing product and engineering groups without direct authority.
  • Problem‑Solving: Analytical mindset with a systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for delivering value, building long‑term relationships, and ensuring customer success.

  • Opportunities to transition into senior technical leadership, product management, or specialized consulting tracks.
  • Global exposure through collaboration with teams across multiple regions and industries.
