Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services to join our remote team and lead the implementation of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. This full-time remote position offers the unique opportunity to shape healthcare delivery from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical policies and procedures according to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards (including NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations)
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach to the team regarding practice standards, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking
  • Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the needs of patients across the continuum of care
  • Collaborate with other key business areas to develop integrated healthcare solutions
  • Develop/assist in creating and reviewing new training content for clinical staff
  • Coordinate/deliver inter and intra-departmental training sessions to maintain high standards of clinical care
  • Safeguard the privacy of patient information and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality
  • Manage resources responsible for identification of patients, development and implementation of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and focus on interventions to enhance outcomes
  • Create, initiate, evaluate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations
  • Ensure the team's understanding and utilization of information system capabilities and functionality
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements regarding education, experience, technical and performance skills
  • Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams
  • Establish a work environment and style that promotes teamwork, cross product integration, and a continuum of care mindset
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to serve as a change agent and lead change initiatives
  • Create a positive work environment by recognizing team contributions, soliciting input, and providing individual support when needed
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures and implement them at the employee level
  • Communicate effectively with Providers, Patients, Staff, and other Leaders (including supporting sales and administrative staff through presentations and remote consultations)

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of clinical experience in healthcare management
  • Must hold active and unrestricted RN or LCSW licensure in state of residence
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Experience with healthcare data management and analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managed Medicare experience
  • Comfortable working remotely/independently, using tools to virtually collaborate and connect with teams
  • Advanced degree in a health-related field; or Registered Nurse (BSN preferred)
  • Experience with telehealth technologies and remote healthcare delivery
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and accreditation standards
  • Project management experience in healthcare settings
