The Role: Senior Statistics Architect

We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Statistics Architect to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. In this critical role, you'll be instrumental in transforming and innovating our end-to-end Voice of Customer methodology. This position represents an extraordinary opportunity to make a significant impact on how we understand and act upon customer feedback across global markets.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging big data technologies to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, subject matter experts, and technology partners to build robust data architectures that drive business decisions and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application teams to define, frame, and capture business requirements for voice of customer systems and data solutions
• Develop deep expertise in Voice of Customer methodologies and leverage this knowledge to define and transform data within our big data platforms
• Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions
• Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python
• Deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at variable and use case levels
• Provide guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem
• Lead user story analysis & elaboration including design and development of software applications, testing, and building automation tools
• Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency across our data workflows
• Partner with global teams to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end system

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting languages
• Strong understanding of development release management and troubleshooting for data-driven projects
• Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery where small increments of products are introduced at regular intervals to business teams
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and related data processing frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Remote work experience with the ability to self-manage and deliver results in a virtual environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms and data visualization tools
• Familiarity with customer experience methodologies and voice of customer frameworks
• Knowledge of data governance principles and master data management practices
• Experience with multi-language data processing and international data standards
• Background in financial services or high-volume transaction processing environments
• Certifications in big data technologies such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, or Databricks
