The individual will collaboratively work with the Syniverse Global Legal team covering our operations in EMEAI and APAC. In addition, the role will work closely with US (Florida) based colleagues.- Some of What You'll Do The person will be responsible for the efficient handling of Syniverse’ contracts with its International customers, including:

  • Contract Administration: Responsible for efficiently administering the contracting process; from initiation/formation of a new contract, responding to tenders, producing the final contract for signature and ensuring timely and correct execution of all commercial contracts. Ensuring relevant internal company policies have been complied with, such as pricing approval or approval of non-standard terms and pternal contract approval checklist. Producing weekly management status reports on contracts that have been signed and contracts that are currently in negotiation.
  • Review of contracts: Assisting lawyers on review of contract terms, such as notices of termination, changes in name or ownership and drafting responses under supervision of a lawyer.
  • Contract Life Cycle Management: Processing contracts through the contract lifecycle management software tool so contracts can be implemented and billed correctly. Proactively administering the contract life cycle management tool, task queue in Outlook and allocating contracts to lawyers based on the agreed work allocation.
  • Handling contract enquiries: Responding to internal requests from sales, finance or management on questions regarding contracts, providing copies of contracts, addendums, or confirming the status of contracts in terms of negotiation or signature.
  • Post: Arranging for the courier of documents and contracts. Ensuring any legal correspondence arriving in the Luxembourg office is correctly distributed to the relevant person.

Job requirements:

  • University degree preferably in law .
  • Minimum of 1 or 2  years’ experience within a legal team (ideally dealing with contracting matters)

Fast learner and proactive Able to work well independently as well as part of a team, in an international environment

  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Adaptable, collaborative, initiative taker,
  • Ability to deal professionally at all levels of the organization, dealing with complex matters and producing a high standard of work
  • IT literate and skilled in Microsoft and other legal support software applications
