What You'll Do as a Data Entry Specialist

As an integral member of our data operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently inputting, verifying, and organizing a variety of critical information into our systems. Your contributions will ensure that healthcare organizations, life science companies, and employers have access to accurate, compliant provider directories and credentials verification.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Document Analysis and Data Extraction: Carefully analyze business documents, board orders, meeting minutes, press releases, and other source materials to identify relevant data points that need to be captured in our FACIS database.
  • Data Research and Verification: Conduct additional research as necessary to verify the accuracy of source information, including contacting data authorities or industry organizations when guidance is needed on how to interpret specific documents.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with management, team members, and stakeholders regarding data acquisition, transformation processes, and any challenges encountered.
  • Process Articulation: Clearly articulate data transformation processes and workflows to ensure seamless hand-offs and maintain data quality standards across the organization.
  • Project Flexibility: Take on additional periodical and ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed to support team objectives and meet evolving business requirements.
  • Independent Productivity: Work independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating self-motivation and effective time management to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
  • Resource Utilization:Utilize provided resources, training materials, and knowledge bases to answer questions and resolve issues before seeking assistance from supervisors.
  • Quality and Efficiency Standards: Consistently meet or exceed quality and efficiency benchmarks established for the data entry queue while maintaining high accuracy rates.
  • Queue Management: Complete items within the Data Entry queue according to established turnaround times and priority guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to articulate data processes clearly
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Work Ethic: Uncompromising approach to meeting and exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
  • Quality Focus: Commitment to doing work right the first time and inspecting work for flaws before submission
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and adjust priorities throughout the day as business needs evolve
  • Initiative: Willingness and ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects

  • Location Requirement: Must reside in one of the following states: CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, ME, MD, MO, MI, NC, OH, OK, PA, UT, TN, WI, VA
