We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our operations team as a Customer Operations Representative, where you'll play a vital role in processing financial transactions for our Deferred Annuity products and delivering exceptional service to our clients and partners. ## About The Role As a Customer Operations Representative at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our customer service team, responsible for the review and processing of both financial and non-financial activities related to our active Deferred Annuity products. This includes managing withdrawals, processing fund transfers, setting up repetitive payment schedules, and ensuring all transactions are executed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for external customers and insurance agents, communicating via telephone and written correspondence to obtain necessary information for processing requested transactions. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly impact our ability to serve our clients effectively and maintain the trust that is fundamental to our business. A critical aspect of this position involves understanding federal and municipal tax regulations that affect annuity products. You'll need to differentiate between IRA (Individual Retirement Account) and NQ (Non-Qualified) accounts, recognizing how different client requests may trigger taxable events. Your knowledge in this area will ensure that clients receive accurate information and that their transactions are processed in compliance with all applicable tax laws. ## What You'll Do In This Role As part of our Customer Operations team, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial and administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include: Processing financial and non-financial activities into our administrative systems with precision and accuracy. This involves keying checks, processing wire transfers, and ensuring all transaction details are entered correctly into our systems. You'll prepare documentation for various transaction types, including withdrawal requests, fund transfers between investment options, and setup of systematic payment schedules for recurring distributions. Communicating professionally with external customers and insurance agents through telephone conversations and written correspondence. You'll respond to inquiries, provide transaction status updates, and gather required information to process client requests. Your communication skills will be essential inbuilding strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met with every interaction. Maintaining an exceptional level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work. Financial transactions require absolute accuracy, and you'll be responsible for reviewing documentation, verifying information, and ensuring all processing steps are completed correctly. Differentiating between various annuity products administered by our team and understanding how each product functions. Your product knowledge will enable you to process transactions accurately and answer client questions confidently. ## Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience: Considerable knowledge of financial operations duties typically obtained through job-related training and experience in the financial services industry. Your background should include familiarity with processing financial transactions, understanding of investment products, and experience in customer-facing roles. Knowledge of specified computer applications, including spreadsheet software, word processing applications, and internal operating systems. Proficiency in data entry and ability to learn new systems quickly will be essential for success in this role. Understanding of office practices and procedures, including document management, record keeping, and administrative workflows.
