Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training About The Role What if your deep expertise in chemistry could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex scientific problems in the world? This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists who want to make a meaningful contribution to AI development — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop advanced chemistry problems with real-world scientific relevance across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
  • Solve and review complex problem sets to ensure scientific accuracy, rigor, and depth
  • Apply your domain expertise to challenge and improve AI model reasoning in chemistry
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts
  • Evaluate AI-generated chemistry content for correctness, clarity, and scientific integrity
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
  • Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to scientific accuracy
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Background in academic research, peer review, or scientific publishing
  • Familiarity with AI tools or prompt-based evaluation systems
  • Experience designing coursework, problem sets, or technical assessments
