iOS Developer Needed to Build AI Hairstylist App (Hair Color Formula Assistant) - Contract to Hire
I am a licensed hairstylist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. I’m looking for a skilled iOS developer to help build the first version (MVP) of a mobile app designed specifically for hairstylists. The app will help stylists determine hair color formulas and track client color history using AI. Project Overview: Stylists will be able to upload a photo of a client’s hair, enter information about the current hair level and desired color result, and receive an AI-assisted color formula suggestion. The app will also allow stylists to save formulas and notes for each client. This will start as an MVP with the potential to expand into a larger platform for hairstylists. MVP Features:
- User account creation and login
- Upload hair photo
- Input current hair level and desired color
- AI-generated hair color formula suggestions
- Save formulas and notes for clients
- Client profile with photo and formula history
- Clean and simple UI designed for hairstylists
Technical Requirements:
- Experience building iOS apps using Swift or SwiftUI
- Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI or similar)
- Experience with Firebase, Supabase, or similar backend services
- Ability to prepare the app for Apple App Store submission
Timeline: Looking to complete the MVP within 6–8 weeks. Budget: Open to proposals (fixed price or hourly depending on experience). When applying please include:
