Position Summary To advance Teach For All’s 25-year vision, we are seeking an Events Manager to manage the planning and execution of our in-person and hybrid learning experiences, enabling our network to connect, learn, and collectively champion more equitable systems for children worldwide. Working alongside the Global Events team, this role will take ownership of event communications, logistical coordination, website development, and the overall attendee experience. Outcomes End-to-End Event Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and execute high-quality learning events from conception to completion, ensuring seamless logistics, strict timeline management, alignment with network priorities. Budget Management & Cost Efficiency: Track event budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery, strong financial oversight, and adherence to approved spending. Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Maintain rigorous standards of execution, including vendor management, budget tracking, technical production, and proactive contingency planning to eliminate real-time failures. Inclusive Experience Design: Source and manage accessible event technologies and structural frameworks that enable seamless, high-engagement participation for a diverse, global audience. Data-Driven Optimization: Establish robust participant feedback loops and analyze post-event metrics to measurably improve event quality, operational efficiency, and future stakeholder impact. Knowledge & Engagement Continuity: Build the infrastructure needed to document event outputs and maintain post-event momentum, turning temporary gatherings into ongoing network learning and collaboration. About the Team The Events Manager reports to the Head of Global Events and works alongside four other event managers on the team. This team sits within the Learning Experiences team which is responsible for producing high quality virtual and in-person learning experiences, content and resources. This person may be assigned other responsibilities aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the Learning Experiences team than the ones highlighted below.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience leading complex project management, large-scale logistics, and global event management Strong working knowledge of event-planning technology, web-based services, and deep expertise with enterprise Zoom functionality (e.g., live interpretation, streaming setups) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with professional-level of the English language Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while juggling competing priorities and tight deadlines across multiple parallel projects A strong, visible commitment to Teach For All's mission, showcasing a mindset of endless possibility and a belief in the power of being locally rooted and globally informed Ability and willingness to travel internationally to support on-site execution of major network gatherings Additional desirable skills/experiences (not required) Prior familiarity or direct experience working within the Teach For All network or a similar global federated network structure Working proficiency or fluency in a second major international language (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic) Advanced certification in Digital Event Strategies or Agile Project Management (e.g., DES, Certified ScrumMaster) Experience with design and proficiency using design tools (e.g., Canva) Experience working in a global and/or virtual environment What Teach For All Offers: Commitment to cultivating a culture in which all staff members feel they belong, are valued for their contributions, and have an impact on our organization’s progress Professional and personal development experiences and ample opportunities to make a positive impact on the work of Teach For All and beyond Comprehensive benefits package designed for your well-being and work-life needs Generous time off and flexible work arrangements And much more! Compensation

Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on country of hire and prior work experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Travel and Hours All work is delivered virtually. Up to 20% travel may be required. Given that we work across different time zones, some non-traditional hours for early or later calls are an expectation of this role.
