Hanover Research - eLearning Contractor Arlington, VA Contract Opportunity The eLearning Contractor will be responsible for the creation of interactive eLearning modules and associated eLearning content on a wide variety of topics related to professional development and career advancement. Work in this position will focus on projects related to classroom instructional practices, educator professional learning, and support for classroom teachers and school leaders, among others. The eLearning Contractor will work alongside subject matter experts to design engaging, outcomes-oriented learning.

Responsibilities

Following direction from subject matter experts, create highly interactive multimedia learning content Work with eLearning Manager to support colleagues in the design of highly effective online educational content for professional audiences Collaborate with Hanover to ensure the regular delivery, improvement, and expansion of Hanover’s eLearning content Incorporate user feedback to improve and adapt Hanover’s eLearning content

Qualifications

Knowledge of eLearning design and development best practices Understanding of adult learning and engagement best practices Proficiency in eLearning development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adapt Thorough understanding of user experience in eLearning environments Basic graphic design skills Basic knowledge of JavaScript is preferred Familiarity with learning management systems Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with team members Ability to prioritize and manage multiple short and long-term projects to meet deadlines Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High comfort level with Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university. Educational background in instructional design is preferred Experience Requirement 1-3+ years creating SCORM-compliant eLearning material in professional context Experience creating material for external clients (either organizations or consumers) Experience with Articulate Storyline is strongly preferred Experience creating or developing K-12 professional development/learning content or resources is a plus Experience in a K-12 education role (e.g., classroom teacher, school counselor) is a plus Location USA Remote #LI-Remote #Remote
