Scalence L.L.C. is a renowned manufacturing company seeking an Engineer Quality I to join their Quality team. The role focuses on supporting production through quality assurance and process improvement, requiring strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production floor by executing quality processes and providing daily support to operators
  • Gather and analyze data to drive corrective action within teams
  • Support quality reports and maintain data collection systems
  • Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact
  • Identify shortcomings in existing processes and use change management programs to address them

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level in Engineering or a related field
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting production in a machining/manufacturing facility
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to drive corrective actions
  • Prior work experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • Experience with automated data collection systems such as QDAS and JDAAT
  • Familiarity with Scrap, Non-Conforming Material, Material Review Board, and Cleanliness Testing processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
