Join arenaflex: Shape the Future of Digital Entertainment Publishing

arenaflex stands as the world's leading online entertainment service, captivating more than 260 million paid subscribers across 190+ countries. At arenaflex, people can watch as much as they want, whenever they want, wherever they are, on virtually any internet-connected screen. Our world-class Product Discovery team is responsible for every touchpoint a visitor or member encounters when engaging with the service, dedicated to crafting seamless, personalized, and deeply engaging experiences that help audiences discover meaningful content. We are innovators, storytellers, and strategists united by a shared mission: to entertain the world by connecting people with the stories they love.

arenaflex is embarking on an exciting new chapter of growth, and our Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Strategy and Analytics team is at the heart of that transformation. We are seeking a sharp, strategic, and analytically gifted Manager, Strategy & Analysis, Marketing & Communications to elevate the publishing platform (TUDUM.com) and inform the broader MarComms decision-making engine. If you thrive at the intersection of data, storytelling, and audience engagement, this role is your platform to make an outsized impact.

About the Publishing Platform: TUDUM

Launched in December 2021, TUDUM.com was designed to be arenaflex's ultimate home for fans. Our mission is to spark joy by deepening connections with beloved titles and helping audiences discover their next great obsession. In just one year, TUDUM has nearly tripled its traffic, signaling massive momentum and untapped potential. The next phase of growth will be powered by sharper insights, more intuitive editorial choices, and a refined understanding of what fans want, when they want it, and how they want to consume it.

To unlock that potential, we need a research-driven strategy leader who can weave together insights from a vast sea of data and translate them into clear actions for our editorial, growth, and product teams. This is not a back-office analytics role. It is a high-visibility position that shapes how a global entertainment brand connects with hundreds of millions of fans.

Position Overview

The Manager, Strategy & Analysis, Marketing & Communications will report to the Senior Manager of Strategy and Analysis within MarComms and will be based in our Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, in-person role operating during the standard business day, collaborating with cross-functional teams across editorial, growth, SEO, and operations. We are looking for a big-picture thinker, a self-starter, and a thought partner with a sharp analytical eye and impeccable attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, embrace ambiguity, and bring an elevated level of intellectual curiosity to every project. Prior experience in an analytics role within a publishing organization is strongly preferred, as is a passion for entertainment and digital media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Liaise closely with internal editorial, growth, SEO, and operations stakeholders to deeply understand their objectives, challenges, and untapped opportunities for TUDUM.
  • Audience Insight Generation: Help the team develop a rich, nuanced understanding of TUDUM's audience, including their behaviors, preferences, and on-site engagement patterns.
  • Content & Traffic Analysis: Analyze data around content and page traffic to recommend improvements to TUDUM's editorial formats, layouts, and storytelling structures.
  • Dashboard & Reporting Architecture: Partner with Data Engineering to design intuitive dashboards and reports that keep the TUDUM team continuously updated on content performance and audience wins.
  • Budget Strategy & Stewardship: Lead long-range budget planning and ongoing budget management throughout the year, with a focus on in-market leverage and ROI optimization.
  • Behavioral Research: Investigate content consumption behaviors across arenaflex to inform MarComms campaign strategies and content distribution decisions.
  • Influence Without Authority: Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to take action on business opportunities surfaced through data-driven insights.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Craft compelling presentations, memos, and recommendations that translate complex analyses into actionable business narratives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of professional experience, including 2-3 years specifically within a data analytics role at a publishing organization. A background in marketing or social analytics is a strong plus.
  • Industry Fluency: Familiarity with industry-standard metrics of success within digital publishing, including traffic, engagement, retention, and conversion benchmarks.
  • Consumer Insight: Deep understanding of consumer behavior and discovery habits within entertainment, including how those behaviors intersect with content libraries and platform services.
  • Independence & Drive: Highly motivated self-starter with the proven ability to work autonomously and drive alignment in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across teams and effectively influence outcomes with clear recommendations and follow-through.
  • Curiosity & Learning Orientation: An unquenchable curiosity to explore new domains, stay ahead of industry trends, and constantly ask the critical question: "Why?"
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding written (memos, decks) and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to timely and transparent communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets.
  • Background in editorial analytics, SEO, or content strategy within a media or entertainment organization.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimental design.
  • Track record of partnering closely with editorial teams to inform content strategy through data.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative, analytical, or media-related field.
