Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Remote Customer Service Representative – Pet Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our expanding customer care team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be residents of Kentucky, reside within 90 miles of Louisville, Kentucky, and perform all work duties within the state of Kentucky. As a frontline representative, you will engage directly with pharmacy customers who reach out to arenaflex through inbound calls, chats, emails, and other communication platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers reaching out to arenaflex’s pharmacy division, primarily handling inbound calls while also assisting through chat, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Listen actively to customer inquiries, demonstrating empathy and understanding while gathering relevant details to address their needs effectively.
  • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot customer issues to determine the best possible solutions, following up as needed to ensure complete resolution.
  • Navigate multiple systems and tools simultaneously to access customer accounts, prescription records, and product information while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Educate customers on pharmacy products, wellness services, ordering processes, prescription requirements, and delivery options to help them make informed decisions.
  • Go above and beyond to “wow” every customer — arenaflex is not looking for order-takers or script-readers; we’re seeking professionals who can think critically, adapt to unique situations, and deliver personalized service.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards specific to the pet pharmacy industry, including proper handling of sensitive customer and pet health information.
  • Document all customer interactions thoroughly and accurately in our CRM system, ensuring records are complete and up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members, pharmacists, and other departments to resolve escalated issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude during every customer interaction, even in challenging situations, and consistently represent arenaflex’s core values.
  • Stay current on product updates, company policies, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Flexibility to shift schedules and work overtime as needed to support team coverage and customer demand during peak periods.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience working in a customer-focused environment, such as retail, call center, hospitality, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically across various channels.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet, assess situations quickly, and develop effective solutions.
  • Multitasking: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, systems, and customer interactions simultaneously without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, navigating multiple software applications, and learning new technologies quickly.
  • Home Office Setup: A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, as this is a fully remote role.
  • Location Requirement: Must be a resident of Kentucky and reside within 90 miles of Louisville, Kentucky. All work must be performed within the state of Kentucky.
  • Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a background check required for obtaining a Kentucky Pharmacy Technician (Rx Tech) license.
