As part of our dynamic team, you will help shape the next generation of packaging strategies, data standards, and brand experiences that keep arenaflex at the forefront of the industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Packaging Strategy & Data Management Specialist to join our Remote Data Entry team. This full‑time role, based in Minnesota (remote work options available), offers a competitive hourly rate of $26 and the opportunity to influence the packaging and data architecture that powers arenaflex’s most beloved product lines. You will work cross‑functionally with product managers, supply chain leaders, marketing teams, and global partners to design, implement, and maintain robust data standards that enable seamless product bundling, compliance, and customer delight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain core data requirements, taxonomy structures, and detailed specifications that support scalable packaging and bundling initiatives across all arenaflex business units.
  • Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, store operations, marketing, supply chain, and compliance stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable data models.
  • Manage change cycles and version control to ensure accurate data propagation across multiple platforms, systems, and partner ecosystems.
  • Create, produce, and deliver compelling training materials, presentations, and roadshows for both internal and external audiences to promote data governance best practices.
  • Analyze data requirements, standards, and processes to drive secure, efficient, and innovative solutions that align with industry regulations and risk‑mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross‑functional teams, ensuring consistent interpretation and implementation of data standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with regulatory and compliance teams to assess the impact of evolving data requirements, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage analytics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, working closely with technology teams to quantify the impact of proposed changes.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to surface insights that inform packaging strategy and data governance enhancements.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Maintain a positive team environment by embodying arenaflex’s core values of Inclusion, Collaboration, and Drive, providing regular feedback, recognition, and development opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support broader business objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience creating and managing documentation and standards projects, preferably within packaging, product bundling, or retail data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, lead projects, resolve conflicts, and build consensus across diverse, remote teams.
  • Strong background in documentation best practices, technical writing, and knowledge management.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering engaging training programs, presentations, and communications.
  • Experience driving cross‑functional initiatives, fostering collaboration, and delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with a solid grasp of data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with packaging or consumer product development processes is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a talent for coaching and motivating team members.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast‑changing environments, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and data visualization tools such as Visio.
  • Commitment to creating equitable experiences and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced degree (MBA, M.S.) in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation) or master data management (MDM) solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FDA, EU REACH, or other product compliance standards.
  • Exposure to agile project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex data concepts into clear business value.
  • Fluency in additional languages to support arenaflex’s global partner network.
