Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex is responsible for transferring information from one source format to another using a variety of data entry methods, including direct keyboard input, word processing software, scanners, optical character recognition tools, and voice-to-text recording systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional typing speed and accuracy while maintaining the highest standards of data confidentiality and quality assurance.

This is a 100% remote position open exclusively to candidates who currently reside in the United States. Key Responsibilities

Core Data Management Duties

  • Transfer data from paper documents, digital files, audio recordings, and scanned images into designated computer systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Enter information into appropriate fields within company databases, electronic records, spreadsheets, and file management systems.
  • Handle large volumes of numerical data with precision, creating and maintaining organized spreadsheets that can be readily interpreted by team members and stakeholders.
  • Organize and structure spreadsheets containing substantial datasets, ensuring information is logically categorized and easily accessible.
  • Curate and transcribe data directly from verbal sources, including recorded interviews, meetings, dictations, and conference calls.
  • Update existing databases and electronic records with new information promptly as it becomes available, ensuring real-time accuracy of stored data.
  • Identify, correct, and modify inaccurate or outdated files, records, and database entries to maintain data integrity across all platforms.
  • Type data directly into systems with sustained accuracy, maintaining productivity benchmarks set by arenaflex leadership.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Comply with all data security protocols, perform regular backup checks, and confirm that all data is properly saved and stored according to arenaflex standards.
  • Summarize raw data into standardized reports that support organizational decision-making and client deliverables.
  • View and verify confidential or private customer and client information while strictly protecting the privacy and identity of all individuals whose data is handled.
  • Verify data accuracy by carefully checking and comparing source documentation against entered records, flagging discrepancies for review.
  • Organize and maintain paper formats, physical backups, and material source files as needed to support hybrid record-keeping practices.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
