Business Development Representative (ON, AB & BC)

Waste Solutions Canada is one of the largest independent management companies for waste and recycling services in Canada. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to fuel revenue growth. This role will primarily be remote but will require travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out and visit potential clients to promote products/services and present new opportunities
  • Negotiate, and execute service agreements, including pricing schedules
  • Conduct cold calls and manage the entire sales process using CRM tools
  • Develop and maintain lists of prospects, set up introduction meetings, and give sales presentations
  • Assist in implementing new programs for clients and upsell additional services/products to meet business targets

Skills

  • An enthusiastic outbound sales professional
  • Someone who can navigate a CRM with ease and enjoys learning new technology!
  • Likes getting creative with Excel, Word, and impress clients with your PowerPoint skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities: Valuing and respecting team members and clients is our top priority!
