[Remote] Sales Director Broadcast & Media
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Manifold Technologies is a small, elite R&D team from Europe that has developed a high-performance software platform for live broadcast. They are seeking a Sales Director to manage the full lifecycle of deals, handle inbound interest, and strategically pursue new Tier-1 accounts while collaborating with the R&D team in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Own the Pipeline: You’ll pick up the ball with some of the biggest names in media and drive those projects to the finish line
- The Demo is the Sale: You won't be reading from a script. You’ll be running your own demos, configuring software on COTS hardware, and proving our value in real-time
- Technical Bridge: You’ll work directly with our R&D team in Europe. You need to be able to translate complex customer requirements into actionable product feedback
- Mission-Critical Execution: In live broadcast, failure isn't an option. You’ll oversee commissioning to ensure our software performs perfectly when the 'On Air' light hits
Skills
- You've spent years navigating the procurement and technical hurdles of major US media organizations and have an established network in the industry
- You're a 'Sales Director' who can still draw a complex workflow diagram on a whiteboard and explain the nuances of IP packet timing
- You're comfortable working autonomously, traveling up to 25%, and doing whatever it takes to win a bake-off
- You thrive in a culture of 'Precision Engineering'—where we move quickly but treat the code with the respect that live TV requires
- You know why FPGA matters for high-end media workflows
- You're comfortable in a Linux/Ubuntu terminal
- You understand SMPTE 2110 and IP networking
