[Remote] SAP Inventory Sub-ledger Consultant

The Inventory Sub-ledger Consultant will manage and optimize inventory-related accounting processes within SAP Finance environments, ensuring accurate reconciliation and supporting financial reporting and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consulting on Inventory Sub‑Ledger processes within SAP Finance modules
- Analyze current inventory accounting workflows and recommend SAP‑based improvements
- Configure and optimize SAP Finance solutions to meet inventory sub‑ledger requirements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory data
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory sub‑ledger transactions in SAP
- Document system configurations, process changes, and best practices
- Support end‑users with training and guidance on SAP Finance inventory functionalities
- Stay updated on SAP Finance enhancements relevant to inventory management
Skills
- Experience with SAP Finance environments, including inventory accounting
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, and SAP FI
- Experience supporting financial close processes and reconciliation activities
- US Citizenship (no dual)
- Must be eligible to obtain a government Public Trust Clearance
- Experience with process automation and data reconciliation tools
- Background supporting large-scale SAP implementations or upgrades
- Strong collaboration skills working with both technical and business stakeholders
