[Remote] Account Manager - Named Accounts, Boston

Rohde & Schwarz is a global technology company specializing in Test & Measurement, and they are seeking an Account Manager to maximize sales through new business development and customer relationship management. The role involves understanding customer needs, creating business opportunities, and managing a strong sales funnel while providing feedback to product teams.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- Create new business opportunities and expanding Rohde & Schwarz brand awareness in existing customers - Effectively demonstrate and communicate how Rohde & Schwarz products can best solve the customers measurement/application problems - Grow the R&S market share and exceed quota
- Develop and manage a strong sales funnel
- Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements
Skills
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field
- 7+ years technical sales experience, preferred in test industry
- An understanding of current electronic industry technologies (aerospace and defense technologies a plus)
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
- The ability to travel throughout the territory with some possible out of territory/ international travel
- Experience in managing large/complex accounts
- Account knowledge and experience selling into Government and Aerospace industries is highly desired
- In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and be a US person (customer requirements)
