About the Role

arenaflex is currently hiring Remote Customer Experience Specialists to support our growing customer service operation. This is a work-from-home opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding service, can think critically under pressure, and enjoy the variety that comes with supporting multiple communication channels. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, making this an excellent fit for candidates seeking flexibility, stability, and meaningful work that can be performed from the comfort of their own home.

Candidates must have reliable high-speed internet access provided through a cable internet service provider (satellite internet is not compatible with our secure systems) and must reside in one of the following states: Wyoming, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Texas, North Dakota, or Arkansas.

The starting pay range for this position is $11.60 to $20.00 per hour, with actual starting compensation determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and prior experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Customer Support: Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to all forms of customer communication, including inbound phone calls, written letters, and internet email inquiries. Each interaction should reflect arenaflex's commitment to quality, empathy, and efficient resolution.
  • Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving: Address and resolve difficult or sensitive customer issues using objective judgment, strong negotiation skills, and a calm, customer-first mindset. Escalate matters appropriately and partner with Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers, Store Managers, and Home Office personnel when needed to reach a timely solution.
  • Accurate Documentation: Record detailed customer and store information into the call tracking system with precision, ensuring that data is captured in a way that supports future reference, trend analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Brand Representation: Promote a positive arenaflex image in every interaction, supporting the company's customer service objectives, mission statement, and reputation for excellence.
  • Personalized Written Communication: Compose thoughtful, individualized replies to customer letters and emails, maintaining the tone, voice, and warmth that define the arenaflex brand.
  • Loyalty Program Support: Update customer addresses within the Loyalty Program database and adjust reward points as needed, ensuring program accuracy and member satisfaction.
  • Social Media Engagement: Make sound judgment calls that align with arenaflex brand standards, escalation guidelines, and customer service policies when responding to customer-related comments and questions on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Encourage a higher level of engagement and provide additional assistance when warranted.
  • Multi-Tasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage a high volume of inbound content across multiple channels simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and a positive customer experience.
  • Reporting and Administrative Tasks: Maintain assigned reports and contribute to ongoing team performance tracking.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: 1 to 3 years of retail customer service experience or call center experience, with a demonstrated ability to handle high-volume, customer-facing interactions.
  • Conflict Management: Proven conflict management and de-escalation skills, with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Active Listening: Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs beyond their initial statement.
  • Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively, manage time, and meet performance expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to grammar, tone, and clarity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid PC knowledge, including comfort with navigating multiple systems, typing efficiently, and learning new software tools.
  • Typing Skills: Accurate and efficient typing skills suitable for fast-paced written communication.
  • Internet Requirements: Reliable cable internet service at your residence (satellite internet is not supported for this role).
  • Residency: Must reside in one of the following states: Wyoming, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Texas, North Dakota, or Arkansas.

Preferred Competencies

  • Previous experience moderating or responding to customer comments on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
  • Familiarity with loyalty program administration, customer rewards systems, or CRM platforms.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • A natural curiosity and willingness to learn, with a flexible attitude toward evolving processes and changing priorities.
  • Comfort working with performance metrics, quality standards, and call tracking systems.
