Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic support team. In this role, you will engage directly with customers via email and live chat, recommending the right parts, resolving inquiries, and processing orders with precision and professionalism. You will thrive in a high‑volume environment, demonstrate patience, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help customers succeed in their DIY auto repair projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate responses to customer inquiries through email and live chat platforms.
  • Diagnose customer needs, recommend appropriate parts, and guide users through the selection and ordering process.
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges while ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, compatibility charts, and inventory levels to deliver expert advice.
  • Collaborate with the technical support, logistics, and merchandising teams to resolve complex issues and improve the overall customer journey.
  • Contribute to quality‑assurance initiatives by reviewing communications for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Document customer interactions in the CRM system, capturing key details that inform future service improvements.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on new product launches, software updates, and best‑practice service techniques.

  • Adhere to the scheduled remote shifts (Eastern Standard Time): 11:30 am – 8:00 pm, four weekdays, and 8:30 am – 4:30 pm on Saturdays.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of proven customer service experience in a high‑volume, remote or call‑center environment.
  • Exceptional typing speed (minimum 60 wpm) with flawless spelling and grammar.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with web browsers, email clients, and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate product catalogs, locate customer data, and retrieve technical specifications quickly.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and brand voice.
  • Self‑discipline to thrive in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • ASE certification or hands‑on experience working at an auto parts counter or in a repair shop.
  • Familiarity with automotive terminology, part numbers, and vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.).
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.) and order‑fulfillment workflows.
