[Remote] National Account Manager

The role involves developing relationships with stakeholders, monitoring account performance, and collaborating with internal teams to meet retailer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day relationships with key retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Whole Foods, H-E-B)
  • reputed company and execute account-specific growth strategies to increase distribution, placement, and sales velocity
  • Partner with buyers and category managers to expand reputed company reputed company and promotional activity
  • Monitor account performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to drive growth
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies
  • Ensure strong execution across retailer requirements, timelines, and deliverables
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and marketing to ensure alignment with retailer needs
  • Support forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Provide input on category insights and competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts
  • Act as the primary reputed company of contact for escalations, negotiations, and strategic discussions
  • Identify new opportunities reputed company accounts (line extensions, new SKUs, additional regions)

Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in CPG sales, account management, or retail-facing roles
  • Proven experience managing grocery or mass retail accounts
  • Strong understanding of retailer dynamics, category management, and sell-in/sell-through strategies
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean startup environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience in beverage, functional beverage, or alcohol categories
  • Exposure to high-growth or early-stage brands
  • Strong analytical skills (pricing, promotions, trade spend, retail performance data)
