[Remote] Software Engineer III – AI / Multimodal Machine Learning

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company, is seeking a Software Engineer III specializing in AI and Multimodal Machine Learning. The role involves designing and building multimodal datasets, fine-tuning machine learning models, and developing scalable data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build multimodal datasets (image, video, audio, text) for training and evaluation
• Fine-tune machine learning models using supervised fine-tuning, preference tuning, or parameter-efficient methods (LoRA/PEFT)
• reputed company and run model evaluation frameworks, including metrics, benchmarking, and failure analysis
• Build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, deduplication, and quality control
• reputed company ML models to reputed company, rebalance, and improve datasets
• reputed company internal tools and workflows for reputed company and model evaluation (web-based interfaces)
• Optimize model performance through experimentation, tuning, and iteration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across ML, data, and engineering

Skills

• 5–10+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or reputed company roles
• Hands-on experience with multimodal systems (image, video, audio, and/or reputed company-language models)
• Proven experience in model fine-tuning (e.g., SFT, RLHF, LoRA, or similar approaches)
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent
• Familiarity with modern ML tooling and ecosystems
• Experience building and working with large-scale datasets and data pipelines
• Strong understanding of model evaluation techniques and performance metrics
• Experience building or working with reputed company-language models or multimodal ML systems
• Background in computer reputed company, NLP, or audio ML
• Experience running ML workloads on distributed or production infrastructure
• Experience building internal tools or annotation platforms (React / TypeScript or similar)
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or reputed company field
