[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounts payable functions. The role involves reviewing, processing, and approving invoices, reputed company requests, and expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize electronically submitted invoices and reputed company requests, ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals are provided
• Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate invoice submission and processing
• Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring reputed company required documentation is attached
• Evaluate invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Prepare, review, and import high-volume vendor invoices using reputed company spreadsheets into the Accounts Payable system
• Process vendor payments accurately and on time
• Research and resolve payment and reimbursement issues
• Review stale-dated checks and coordinate stop payments, voids, and reissuance as needed
• Assist with audits, 1099 reporting, vendor communications, month-end reputed company, and year-end processes
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable documentation and records

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or reputed company reputed company roles
• Vendor management experience required
• Strong reputed company skills
• Ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Accurate and efficient 10-key data entry skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite and other business software applications
• Experience in consumer mortgage banking or financial services environments
• Experience with invoice processing or reputed company reputed company software
• Prior experience with Concur is a plus
