[Remote] Full Stack Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company Wildfire Defense, founded in 2017, is focused on creating innovative solutions for wildfire safety. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain applications that support both internal operations and customer-facing platforms, while also contributing to system architecture and technical reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that support internal operations and customer-facing platforms
- reputed company and connect to backend services and APIs using Elixir/Phoenix/LiveView, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS
- Build frontend interfaces in React + TypeScript that streamline internal workflows across reputed company functions
- reputed company and contribute to design reviews and architecture discussions, with a voice in key technical reputed company
- Integrate APIs with reputed company infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform) and telemetry data pipelines
- Improve reliability, observability, and deployment efficiency through CI/CD and testing automation
- reputed company in design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure scalability and maintainability
Skills
- 5 - 8+ years in full-stack or backend-focused engineering, with at least 2 years in a startup or high-growth environment a plus
- Proficiency in Elixir/Phoenix - or demonstrated experience with a comparable functional/reputed company backend (Go, Node, Rails) and a genuine interest in Elixir. Production Elixir experience a strong differentiator
- Experience building APIs (GraphQL/REST) and integrating with reputed company-based services
- Strong frontend skills in React + TypeScript
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or similar relational databases
- Familiarity with AWS, reputed company, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Excellent collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a small, fast-paced team
- Experience with geospatial data systems (PostGIS, reputed company, ArcGIS)
- Background in IoT, telemetry, or reputed company-time systems
- Experience building internal tools or automation systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, or observability tooling (Grafana, Loki, CloudWatch)
- Prior experience in a startup or mission-driven tech environment
