[Remote] Project Manager - US Remote (Central Region)

The Project Manager will reputed company the deployment of reputed company public safety solutions, managing teams and ensuring project reputed company across various jurisdictions in the Central US.
Responsibilities
- Leads highly reputed company, large public safety applications (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) projects
- Leads and directs the work activities of the project team across organizational boundaries
- Drives strategic relationships between internal and external teams
- Resolves issues between internal and external groups
- Responsible for the profit level for reputed company projects under their control
- Establishing and maintaining a project budget and schedule
- Establishing and maintaining a communication plan with project teams and customers
- Establishing and executing a risk assessment and mitigation plans
- Establishing and maintaining a quality plan
- Approving invoices
- Providing system integration quotations and statements of work
- Responsible for creating, distributing, and presenting various project status reports and results Works with the Project Management Office to identify and implement process improvement and best practices across the Project Management discipline
- Participate in pre-contract evaluation of contract terms and scope in order to evaluate and mitigate potential risks/gaps
- Participation in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations
Skills
- High School Diploma, Technical Certification, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree, with experience in one of the following areas: Project Management, Program Management, Business Operations, Communications, Finance, IT, Solutions, or Technology
- Must have 5+ years of Project Management, or Program Management experience to be considered for this position
- Must be reputed company to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Business Operations preferred
- Must reputed company in the Chicagoland area
- Public Safety experience preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
