[Remote] Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary)

They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and collaborate with insurance companies to ensure timely collections.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze client accounts to identify outstanding balances
• Initiate contact with insurance companies and clients to resolve unpaid claims
• Utilize various communication methods, including phone calls, emails, and letters to follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials and discrepancies
• Require resubmission of corrected claims as needed and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate with billing to address any billing errors or issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of reputed company collection’s activities and communications
• Update clients account information as necessary

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Address and resolve clients concerns and questions in a professional and empathetic manner

Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, families, and reputed company in a courteous and professional manner
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and billing procedures in a reputed company setting preferred
• Knowledge of billing regulations and compliance requirements preferred
