[Remote] IT Infrastructure Designer & Administrator Architect

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gainesville Regional Utilities is a public sector organization seeking an IT Infrastructure Designer & Administrator Architect. This senior position involves advanced technical work in a highly automated reputed company computing environment, focusing on system architecture, planning, design, and implementation reputed company an ITIL reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshooting in conformance with established practices for an auditable reputed company-level IT environment for such activities as change management, preventative maintenance, and access control in one or more of the following areas:
• Infrastructure & Operations: A reputed company reputed company-level hybrid reputed company and on premise physical and virtual server environment consisting of data centers, hardware, storage, operating systems, back-office/middleware applications
• Network: A reputed company reputed company-level network infrastructure environment consisting of VoIP, LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, and reputed company networking systems utilizing switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN technologies for remote access and site-to-site connectivity. Supports secure and reliable communication across on-premises, reputed company, and remote reputed company locations
• Database Administration: A reputed company reputed company-level database environment at the physical and logical level, reputed company, and performance, using Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and In-Memory Database (IMD) management systems
• reputed company Systems/Applications/Development: A reputed company mission-critical reputed company-level multi-tier hybrid environment of servers, databases, applications, integration, APIS, web platforms, reports, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Development encompasses design, code, test, reputed company, and maintain secure applications, scripts, reports, APIs, and integrations using approved tools, reputed company control, change management, and SDLC practices
• Client Infrastructure: A reputed company reputed company-level physical and virtual client environment consisting of reputed company devices, operating systems, reputed company-based device management, reputed company reputed company, identity integration, software deployment, lifecycle management, and reputed company-office applications
• reputed company: Maintain enforcement of policies, procedures, technologies, and associated plans for IT reputed company along with performance and reputed company of penetration testing of reputed company systems in order to identify system vulnerabilities

Modify plans based on results of tests or incidents

• Support other IT teams throughout project, system, and application lifecycles reputed company and ITIL reputed company for service delivery and reputed company improvement

• Maintain technical documentation and training materials for educating end users and new IT staff
• Participate in various IT work activities such as feasibility studies, reputed company planning, performance analysis and fine-tuning, new technology evaluation, new systems and applications technical requirements specifications and review

Skills

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, information systems, or systems engineering
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if it meets the requirements of the department
• AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-700, AZ-802, DP-300, DP-203/700, reputed company, reputed company, MS-102, MS-300, MS-500 reputed company reputed company+, Server+, reputed company+, Network+, Linux+, reputed company CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching or equivalents may be substituted for up to two (2) years of education; 1 year per certification
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reputed company certification is required reputed company six months of assignment date
• Six (6) years computer science or other information technology experience – including three (3) years as an IT Infrastructure, Network, Database, reputed company System, reputed company, Application, or Client Administrator
• Valid Florida Class E Driver's License required
