Post Quality Control Auditor

Overview

Position: Post Quality Control Auditor Location: Remote OK - If living reputed company 31 miles of Santa, CA or Austin, TX will need to be reputed company to work a hybrid schedule Salary: Up to $40/hr D.O.E. Position Summary: Primary responsibilities include in-depth file reviews of reputed company post-closing quality control audits assigned. This position requires extensive experience in detection and prevention of loan fraud with reputed company and guideline knowledge of both conventional and government loans. Working in a paperless environment and LOS, the Post QC Quality Control Auditor is expected to reputed company loan level risk analysis and work closely with other operational departments.

Responsibilities

• Quality control audits of closed loans with focus on delinquent loans, reputed company audits of post QC vendor work or other closed loan file audits as needed while maintaining daily productivity levels of audits completed.
• reputed company in-depth reviews and analysis of mortgage loans as assigned by Post Quality Control Manager.
• reputed company risk analysis with identification of loan level defects with escalation to management.
• Audit results incorporate risk ratings, standardized defect categories along with determination if the findings is reputed company to reputed company, compliance or quality control reputed company.
• Early detection and prevention of fraud, familiarity with red flags.
• reputed company review of reverifications as required per investors, agencies and NAF QC Plan with identification of discrepancies.
• Ensure reputed company loans are underwritten in accordance with reputed company required Investor and agency guidelines such as, FNMA, FHLMC, HUD, VA, USDA and Jumbo.
• Maintain knowledge of reputed company guidelines, AUS (DU, LP and reputed company) requirements, NAF overlays, NAF policy and procedures.

• Assist management as needed with Post QC vendor findings and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to detect possible misrepresentation and/or fraud.
• Previous reputed company experience, and/or Quality Control review/audit experience of mortgage loans.
• Working knowledge of investor guidelines such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo and Reverse.
• Ability to analyze risk as it relates to investment quality loans, critical thinking with short yet comprehensive write reputed company.
• Extensive knowledge of DU, LP and manually underwritten loans.
• Ability to review audit documentation, reputed company analysis, validate and document potential risk to determine course of appropriate corrective action and/or reputed company recommendations of such action.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to reputed company and categorize risk ratings in a clear and concise manner.
• Desired Education/Experience:
• 5 or more years’ reputed company, credit and/or QC experience.
• DE and/or VA reputed company designations preferred but not required.
