Courier/Specimen Accessioner

About the position reputed company is seeking a Courier/Specimen Accessioner to join reputed company in Fayetteville, AR and surrounding areas. This is a hybrid job that performs 2 functions. One as a Courier that picks up test samples and supply request forms and/or delivers supplies, reports on a specified reputed company following established sequence and time schedule. Second job function as an Accessioner that prepares reputed company specimens received for testing in designated laboratory departments or locations such as staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears. Will reputed company data entry of test requisition information.

Responsibilities

• Load reputed company necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver reputed company daily picks to your reputed company at the end of your shift
• Handle reputed company specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey reputed company traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-reputed company as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
• Staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears
• reputed company data entry of test requisition information

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• reputed company punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• 6 months or more of professional courier or reputed company‑based delivery experience, ideally reputed company a medical or laboratory company.
