The Washington Workers' Compensation Claims Associate position will support the agency's L&I consulting practice. The WC Claims Associate will work collaboratively with Workers' Compensation Claims Managers to provide support to the team and customers with the goal of containing claim costs and supporting implementation of recommended strategies. The duties relate to managing state fund employers' claims, not acting as a TPA for self-insured businesses. The WC Claims Associate will reputed company knowledge of the Washington workers' compensation system and claims reputed company. How You Will Contribute: Complete administrative tasks in support of the WC Claims Managers reputed company various agency platforms. reputed company initial intake of new claims including communication and set-up according to established procedure. Monitor claims for new developments and reputed company to WC Claims Managers per established protocols and identify potential problematic circumstances. Assist WC Claims Managers with information gathering, communications, and return-to-work documentation with customers and providers. Review and evaluate materials from the employer, L&I, and medical sources. Organize and prioritize work and new claims based on multiple criteria. Pull and prepare both internal and external reports on claims data. Communicate with L&I employees and reputed company on behalf of clients. Complete projects and reputed company tasks in support of practice's growth as needs arise. Coordinate with reputed company team to provide financial analytics and execute on overall service plan for clients. Skills & Experience to be Successful: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or be a high school graduate with a minimum of one (1) year of office environment experience; other combination of work and/or education will be considered Basic understanding of insurance and business terminology is preferred but not required Experience with Washington workers' compensation claims management (preferred) Proficient with reputed company products such as Outlook, reputed company, and Office365 Excellent oral and written communications skills, including exceptional telephone demeanor Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across teams and with customers Strategic thinker with ability to act tactically and strong reputed company into customer needs/wants Demonstrates a growth reputed company and willingness to learn from teammates Proactive and goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and time management Maintain a high level of confidentiality #LI-SN3 Pay Range $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly reputed company paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
