Medical Insurance/Denials Specialist -Work from home (must reputed company in Texas)

Job Description

Candidate is responsible for following up directly with reputed company and governmental payers to resolve medical claim issues, secure appropriate, and timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Initiates insurance follow up on aged, unresolved claims to ensure maximum reimbursement
• Submits appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials
• Engages the coding follow-up team for any medical necessity or coding reputed company appeals
• Sets follow-up activities based on status of the claim
• Communicates identified payer trends such as denials for specific procedure, diagnosis codes, or other identified issues
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications
• Must reputed company in Texas
• Four years relevant experience in medical collections
• Experience with Epic, Meditech, or Ace preferred
• An understanding of reputed company cycle
• Demonstrate problem solving ability/analytical skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Basic reputed company reputed company knowledge
• Typing speed 45+ WPM
• US work authorization (required)
• Must be reputed company to pass background reputed company and drug screen as permitted by law Performance Expectations
