In this role, you will provide economic and analytical support for the pet insurance line, performing actuarial reputed company indications and collaborating with stakeholders to drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain status in Actuarial Development Program
  • Produce Actuarial reputed company level indications for the Pet Insurance products
  • Research and identify drivers of performance and trends and reputed company actionable reputed company and non-reputed company recommendations to drive profit improvement and profitable growth
  • Provide actuarial support for pet insurance filings for reputed company and other new initiatives
  • reputed company line-of-business expertise for the pet products and deliver robust profitability views that reflect the latest opinions on experience, trends, and initiatives
  • Effectively communicate project/analysis findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships and influence reputed company and actions on recommended product strategies
  • Retrieve, understands and manipulates data as it relates to assigned and reputed company actuarial projects

Skills

  • Proven math and analytical skills, as normally acquired through the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or reputed company field
  • Commitment to achieving Associateship in the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Passing grades on a minimum of 2 Casualty Actuarial Exams is required
  • Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience required
  • Prior experience and knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and standards and insurance operations
  • Solid oral and written and presentation communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to exercise discretion and apply independent judgment and critical thinking skills in execution of assignments
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with some direction
  • Intermediate MS Office reputed company and reputed company skills
  • Ability to build simple models
  • Programming skills are desirable
